We are midway through the year and I want to congratulate the people that are participating in the “First Year” competition within the monthly print competition. PPA's print competition has been announced and the due date for entries is April 30th!
February is a special month for Dallas PPA. Traditionally it is the month when we recognize our past presidents and thank them for their service. Many of our past presidents have continued to support and serve our organization long after they were president. At our February meeting we would like to thank them.

Welcome to 2010! We can all hope that the New Year brings better things; a better economy, more business, more ways to be creative in our craft, more learning experiences and more time with our friends and colleagues. The Dallas PPA is going to do what we can to help those things come true.
I'm just back from Little Red School House, and I'm trying out new ideas or a fresh look at old ones. We had a great turnout.
Last month I talked about reinventing ourselves. Well, our association has to work on this also. Each one of us will get more of the energy effect, more networking, more meaning to a print competition's First place with more being better.
Spring is in the air and reinventing is on our minds. What a great opportunity we have to get ideas for just that. Our association has provided another great speaker, the Woods and this month Jerry Ward.
