The Dallas PPA holds general meetingson the second Tuesday of every month except for January (third Tuesday because of Imaging USA), March (third Tuesday because of WPPI), August (Little Red Schoolhouse event) and December (when we have our holiday party). In addition, we hold several special Mentor’s and Master’s meetings during the year.
Our monthly meetings feature a different speaker each month talking about subjects of interest to professional photographers. (Check the website each month for the featured speaker.) In addition to the speaker, each month our vendors have tables set up showing their products and it’s an opportunity to network and learn from your fellow professional photographers. Each month we also have a print and album competition. Print and album competition is a great way to learn how to better your photography. You must be a member to participate in the competition and the rules are available here.

Dinner Reservations Required – Respond by Friday Noon & Win!
Reservations are required and must be made by noon on the Friday preceeding the meeting. E-vites are sent out the week before each meeting and you will be be entered into a door prize drawing if you respond by noon on Friday. Please use E-vite to confirm attendance as follows:
- Yes – Attending and wish to have a dinner reservation
- Maybe – Attending without dinner
- No – Not attending (door prize will be mailed)
If you do not have a dinner reservation, you may not be able to eat, and the price is the same as a non-member. Arrivals after 7:30 p.m. cannot be promised dinner.

Joined last week and didn’t see anything about this month’s meeting till today. Searched on 5/31, and then didn’t bother to look again. So now it tells me that I’m not welcome!?!? Have to show up at 7:30 because I didn’t make a reservation on Friday?
It took awhile to remember how Dallas chapter is separate from TexasPPA website, clicked on calender and it shows June events as blank and I thought the June event had been canceled. Need a button on TPPA home page to link to local chapters.
