June Meeting
Simplicity is MY secret sauce with Craig Le Mere
Have you ever looked at an image and thought to yourself "I'd love to create something like that". But you were not sure even where to start or you tried and you couldn't quite get the results you wanted? If so, I have the program for you.
I will show you my method and philosophy for creating any kind of image. I believe the ability to bring the images from your mind's eye into the real world is nothing more than a matter of simply organizing parts rather than trying to create the whole. I will show you how to combine different lenses, modifiers and light sources in a very simple way to create any images you can think of!
Key Takeaways:
How to use the softest to the hardest light
How to organize your shoots in your head to become a more confident
How you use a variety of modifiers
How to get the most out of one to two light setups
How to stop over complicating your process
Craig La Mere lives in the great state of Idaho and is a member of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes. Pre-Meeting Event: Photography Tips and Hacks
This month's pre-meeting event is about sharing photography tips and hacks. Questions like, how to make a client smile? What kind of strap doesn't hurt your back? How do you carry your equipment to outdoor shoots? What are the safety measures for protecting your equipment at shoots? Share the tips and tricks you use in your day to day photography jobs or ask your friends at DPPA for tips. This is a open forum for all us to seek and share our knowledge with our friends.
Separate registration is NOT required for this pre-meeting event. Anyone registered for the monthly meeting can come in early and take advantage of this learning opportunity.
