Moving Images: Light With A Purpose
Create moving images and stunning imagery for your client in any situation without disruption, by creating your own light. Photographer Hiram Trillo will show you how to take control and light any situation for stunning photographs and create a world for your clients using off camera flash without disruption and still keep your photojournalistic style.
About: Born and raised in México, Hiram has developed an eye for dramatic lighting from his love of the Golden Era of Mexican cinema and Old Hollywood. From his start as a painter, Hiram begins with a vision and develops his images of a wedding day or editorial shoot by layering the world around him and capturing emotions, colors, textures, and events. A proud father and husband, Hiram knows the importance of capturing life as it happens. This is his inspiration.
Hiram is an artist and international wedding photographer with weddings in The United States, Mexico, South America, and Europe. Named one of the best photographers in the world by Junebug Weddings “Best of the Best 2013” Hiram also was the recipient in 2013 of the prestigious WPPI Grand Award in Photojournalism, WPPI 1st Place Award in Wedding photojournalism, and 3 Accolades of Excellence in the 16x20 print competition. His unique style is defined by off-camera lighting and fashion inspired imagery, as well as photojournalism. Beginning in 2011, Hiram has been invited as a keynote speaker and educator for WPPI Mexico, BodaF, FdF Argentina and Madrid, and the First International Photography conference in Colombia. His personal lighting workshops have seen him teach photographers from North, Central, and South America as well as Europe. His goal is to inspire others to create not only for their clients but to leave a piece of art in every photograph.
