Adilfa Ford
"Running a Successful Home Studio Business"
Full time wife, mother, grandmother, photographer, and business owner; it’s not easy making a full-time living in the photography industry today, but Adilfa and Russ Ford of Taylorsville, Utah have been doing it for over 15 years.
Owning your photography business takes on a whole new meaning when if you don’t shoot, you can't put food on the table. Adilfa herself will tell you “there are tons of dos and don’ts and over the years we did most of the don’ts and not near as many dos as we should have”. In this insightful business program you can learn from our successes and mistakes.
Save yourself time and money and learn the secrets to a more successful home business. We’ll talk about marketing, sales, organization, efficient shooting, editing, retouching, printing, and how to not kill your spouse if you are in the business together. We laugh, we cry, we love what we do.
Adilfa Ford of Don Polo Photography has been successfully working this market for over 20 years photographing routinely families of 50 and 60 people. In this program she will talk about marketing, booking, posing, selling, retouching, and printing. Everything you ever wanted to know about family portrait photography in one program. Okay, maybe not everything but at least enough to get you going and hopefully help you to make more money.
Adilfa and her husband Russ are the owners of Don Polo Photography and make 100 percent of their family income in photography. They are both past presidents of the Intermountain Professional Photographers Association, CPP, Photographic Craftsmen, and National Award recipients. Adilfa is also a Master Photographer and Silver Photographer of the year award winner at Imaging USA for the past three years.
